I love my New Docking Station and cable to connect (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Received the product, works great between my Laptop and docking Station. This new way to connect is much better than the old way!

Good idea until you upgrade the dock [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is good for Gen8 and below version of the Carbon X1 devices. If you upgrade to new docks, the USBC type 4 cable will do everything needed.
